FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The second transnational meeting of BITEFIX project was held via an online platform due to the increase of Covid-19 infections in different points of Europe. All the partners were able to attend the presentation of the first results produced, evaluate the status of the project and discuss different topics to find consensus and attain the different goals set of Work Package (WP) 2 “Framework and Good Practices”, and Work Package 3 “Educational Program”.

Following the identification and collection of good practices at national, international, and regional level, HASK (leader of WP 2) and ICSS-INSIGHT (project coordinator) presented the 1st draft of the Guide of Good Practices on match-fixing and anti-corruption. The partners approved the 1st version of the draft which will continue evolving in parallel to the collection of responses of the questionnaires launched in May 2021.

With the close stage of finalizing the WP2, ISCTE (leader of WP3) proceeded to do an introduction of the terms of reference of the Educational Program which aims to create a comprehensive e-learning program on exchange of information and data protection to fight match- fixing. The interaction between the partners led to the consolidation of the project’s work plan.

  • Launch of the BITEFIX website during the 2021 edition of the EU European Week of Sport
